Carol McFayden
Carol’s dance journey began at just three years old when she stepped into her first ballet class and fell in love with the art form. With over 14 years of training in RAD Ballet, Jazz, and Lyrical, she has earned numerous awards and scholarships at prestigious competitions throughout British Columbia. Her love for dance has taken her to stages across North America, creating unforgettable experiences along the way.
Carol’s passion for teaching emerged when she began assisting classes as a young dancer. Her natural ability to make every student feel like a superstar has made her a beloved instructor, known for her warm and encouraging approach. Carol believes that dance is not just about mastering technique, it’s about expressing yourself, building confidence, and embracing individuality.
She is dedicated to creating an inclusive, body-positive environment where every dancer feels valued and supported. Carol emphasizes that dance is for everyone, regardless of body type or ability, and she strives to help her students see their unique strengths. Her goal is to guide her dancers to find joy in movement, celebrate their progress, and develop a lifelong love for dance. Carol’s empathy, enthusiasm, and genuine care for her students have a lasting impact, helping each dancer feel confident, capable, and proud of their achievements.
With a background in business from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Carol is also our Head of Marketing, skillfully combining her creativity and strategic insight to connect with our dance community and support the growth of our studio.
Carol is committed to continuous growth, always expanding her skills to offer the best experience for her students. She’s passionate about inspiring her dancers to reach new heights and unlock their full potential.
