Carrie Coulter: Ballet
Carrie has over 25 years of dance training and teaching experience, both locally and internationally. She specializes in the graded syllabi of the Royal Academy of Dance and graduated from the academy’s 3-year teaching program, attaining R.A.D. registered teacher status in 2001. Carrie continually pursues professional development courses provided by the R.A.D. and has obtained certification in the Progressing Ballet Technique.
She is passionate about giving her students a strong technical foundation and instilling them with a love of this beautiful art. Carrie has danced all over the world and prior to returning to Canada, she spent 4 years teaching in Hong Kong, and founded a ballet program providing dance to expatriates and local children while living in Lagos, Nigeria.
Carrie is thrilled to join the faculty at Langley Dance Academy and looks forward to sharing her knowledge with the dancers at LDA.
